EXCESSIVE AXILLARY SWEATING. BOTOX

Hypersweating The medical term is axillary hyperhidrosis

This refers to excessive perspiration from the sweat glands in the underarms. It is quite bothersome and poses a significant problem for sufferers for whom it creates situations of insecurity and discomfort that can affect their personal, social and working life. This problem can also arise in the palms of the hands or the soles of the feet, in which case it is known as palmar or plantar perspiration.

Solves axillary, palmar or plantar hyperhidrosis in 30 minutes.

A superficial injection of the botulinum toxin blocks the neurotransmitter that gives the order to the glands to secrete sweat. It is an easy solution that can be carried out in about 20 to 30 minutes and involves injecting small doses of Botox into the dermis that covers the entire treatment area. In the case of the underarms this is not particularly painful but an anaesthetic cream may be used to make the treatment more comfortable. However, an anaesthetic block is necessary for the more sensitive palm and sole areas.

The technique requires no special care before or after, and following treatment the patient can resume his/her daily routine immediately.

How long does the treatment last?

The effects of the treatment will begin to be noticed more or less in the same week and can last from 3 to 6 months.

As you can see, the botulinum toxin is a quick and easy solution to the uncomfortable situations that cause hyperhidrosis. Aureo Clinic encourages you to enjoy a more pleasant summer and improve your #Aureoestima.
