LIPOLASER. LOCALIZED FAT

What is lipolaser?

Lipolaser is a non-surgical minimally invasive technique that uses local anesthesia so it does not require hospitalization or observation and the patient goes home right after the procedure.

It consists of a dissolution of the accumulated fat through the heat of the laser and then in the aspiration of this liquefied fat through a small diameter cannula.

At Aureo Clinic, we opt for laser-assisted liposuction because it is safer and more effective than traditional liposuction.

Both procedures are used for the treatment of localized fat in the abdomen, buttocks, inner thighs and knees, arms, flanks, back and arms; and in both we seek to reshape the figure.

What is the difference between liposuction and lipolaser?

To start with lipolaser we will use a local anesthesia instead of the general anesthesia used in the other type of liposuction. In addition, the dissolution of the fat is done by means of an optical fiber of a few millimeters in size to then be able to absorb it with a cannula of the same size, in traditional liposuction the fat is broken (not diluted) through a thicker cannula and then must also be aspirated by a cannula of larger caliber, so the incisions are much larger and the process much more traumatic. Finally, the heat emitted by the laser will cause a retraction of the skin that will improve its appearance and avoid the dimpling or furrows typical of traditional liposuction.

In summary: better results by dissolving the fat and retracting the skin and greater safety by being less traumatic and using local anesthesia. With all this, the patient’s recovery is much faster and more comfortable, so that in a few days they can return to their normal life.
